Special Guest Performers

Taka

World traveler and student of native cultures, Taka has experienced the aboriginal cultures in the remote northern territory of Australia.

His observations and experience of the way these people live and stay in touch with the DreamTime mystery left a deep impression in his being. He was inspired by the ancient music sounds that transmit transformational qualities and benefits — acting as a gateway into the time and space continuum known as DreamTime. This resulted in the didgeridoo becoming his primary meditation tool.

Taka, one of the original 13ers, joins us for the 12th consecutive year, and will facilitate the channeling of sound and music throughout the workshop with his unique gifts, talents and music.

Here II Here (formerly Inner Voice)

We first heard their blended voices at the 10th Annual Gathering. Now, we’ve got them in person. A special concert will be performed by one of our favorite singing groups, Here II Here. The concert will be on Saturday Dec. 6. A Love Offering is requested at the time of your registration, or you can do so at the event.

Here’s what people are saying:
"Just when it seems that all the music in the world has been fused together in every possible combo, Here II Here invents a new sound that I would call Buddhizm2Men." - Celeste Fraser Delgado, Miami New Times

"Here II Here is uplifting music that you'll want to buy in bulk and share with your closest friends and family. ... a plethora of tribal harmony and soulful grooves that make you want to celebrate being alive!" - Tena Moore, Being Magazine

"Here II Here rocks! I haven't felt this high since Woodstock!"
 - Artie Kornfield, Woodstock '69 Co-Producer "The Rhythm of Good Vibes ... HERE II HERE: At the point of exploding, a band that overflows with cosmic energy." - Ocean Drive Magazine

"The group's music resounds with traditional Spanish Flamenco, Middle Eastern and Indian strains, and the romantic ballads are soulful expressions. A HIIH concert is like a spiritual revival - listeners feel uplifted, happy, perhaps even enlightened."
 - WHERE Magazine

"Here II Here bursts my heart more open each time I hear them. They sing the truth! They are the awake Inner Voice." - Gangaji, Spiritual Teacher
